Here’s a web site I was introduced to by the great Richard Dawkins (via the NY Times) called “Why Does God Hate Amputees” at http://www.whydoesgodhateamputees.com.

This site focuses on a single, potent question: Why Won’t God Heal Amputees? After all, God is supposed to listen to our prayers. If you ask anybody that is religious whether or not they believe in the power of prayer, most likely they will say yes. But this site makes you really think: How come God never answers the prayers of an amputee? Never, in the history of mankind, has an amputees legs “grown” back.
